Registration of FROLYT capacitors in Patent and Trademark office

The by the FROLYT developed Pseudo-SMD-capacitors were registered from the German Patent and Trademark office on 15.04.2011 under the number 2011 40 2011 002 522.1.
The registration is valid for Germany and Europe.
The PSEUDO-SMD electrolytic capacitors have been developed specifically for the automotive industry for extremely high vibration environments. The capacitors are for the temperature range -55 ° C ... 125 ° C (135 ° C) and can be used in the voltage range of 6.3 V - 450 V are prepared.

Pseudo-SMD of FROLYT

For the automotive industry has developed FROLYT in Ø18 x 36.5 mm and
Ø12,3 mm x 21.0 mm lead-free "pseudo-SMD electrolytic capacitors” with large CxU product. These are used for the temperature range -55 ° C ... +125 (135) ° C under extreme conditions and may in the voltage range from 6.3V - 450V can be produced.
In automatic assembly is applied between the capacitor housing and circuit board hot melt glue which completely cured during the reflow soldering process. Without an additional operation a secure mechanical connection is created to the PCB.
